Classic razor with the "old fashioned" double safety razor. Shaving with a Double Edge Safety Razor takes a bit of practice. The more you do it, the better you will get at it. Follow these instructions to get started: Moisten the area to be shaved with warm water and lather thoroughly with a brush. The longer you lather the beard, the easier and more gently the hairs can be shaved. Use an effective moisturizing shaving cream or soap to help the blade glide easily over the skin. Make sure the head is firmly attached to the handle, but far enough that the head can be unscrewed without too much effort. This ensures that the blade is at the correct angle. Now start shaving. Hold the razor at an angle of about 30° to the skin. Start with the cheeks and glide the razor over the skin. Always shave in the direction of beard growth. If you want to shave the neck, pull the skin taut with your free hand. Don't be discouraged by minor cuts or scrapes.
